Judith RotemFinding my lost voice - The way from the ultra-orthodox world to the world of writing

Judith Rotem was born in Budapest during the Second World War. She grew up in an ultra-orthodox family in Israel, but after 20 years of marriage and long soul-searching left that world to become a writer and single mother of seven children.

In her books she deals with the lives of women and men in the ultra-orthodox community, and with people on the borders between open and closed societies.
